Hotel a Whittier

“Not the worst, but definitely not seeing its maximum potential. Needs meticulous attention to details instead of slapping on some paint and wallboard. The sink was stopped up and needs to be replaced with something more appealing. Only one small trash can in the unit and not in the bathroom. No bath mat to prevent stepping onto wet tile floor from shower causing me to fall. We stayed 2 nights but was only given 2 towels and no housekeeping for our entire stay. Doors slammed, dogs barked, and...

“This is a nice quiet hotel right across from the casino (you could walk). We spent one night and the bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. We had a nice big bathroom with walk in shower. Breakfast was ok, oatmeal, cereals, yogurt, etc. I would stay here again if passing through the area.”

“This is my third time staying at this property and each time we found flying insects in the room. Once we brought our own insect light. One more thing that may influence my staying there again since the overall amenities are outdated.”

“I was enchanted by this property. Having a pool, bar, restaurant was much less important than sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch with a blanket. The property was beautiful. I really enjoyed talking to the manager. He was very helpful and gave me information on the history of the property. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed. I will be staying here again when in Waynesville. An absolutely beautiful property.”

“Would been great but it took 20 mins and I kid you not 20 mins for the water to get hot. We moved the chair in the corner by the table and all underneath it and behind it was full of dead bugs where the maids had not bothered to pull out and sweep behind of underneath it. My nephew was 4 doors down and went to take a shower but had no shower curtain. Seems that this place is going down hill a little since new owners took over.”

“We enjoyed our stay but I was a little disappointed with the lack of usb charging stations, i didn't bring mine, so they loaned us a device. They were very helpful.”

“Relax Inn was just what we wanted for a stay in Bryson City. It was small and cozy with everything we needed and obviously had been updated with a great shower, very comfortable bed, and great WIFI/TV service. We were within walking distance of downtown and the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad. If we'd had more time, we would definitely have made use of the rocking chairs outside our door while drinking coffee. We would definitely stay here again if and when in Bryson City.”
