“It is a great house with all the amenities we expected. A bit further out than we expected but that gave us a lot of privacy. Horses were a plus and host provides treats for them. Went on the coal train trip and to Cumberland Falls. The younger women went on a hike but I stayed in the car with the A/C on - 80 year olds don’t hike. LOL ”

Very good at communicating, super helpful and just all around a super nice and welcoming person. Housekeeping was spotless! “The driveway is a challenge due to some pretty big potholes and being steep with a sharp turn. We had an SUV so it wasn't too bad but a smaller vehicle might have struggled more. Other than that, everything was great. We didn't fully take advantage of all the outdoor space but it is really nice. The indoor space was nice and had everything we needed. There was plenty of linens. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. ”

“The property looked almost brand new! The blankets and towels were so soft and comfy. We loved eating breakfast on the back deck overlooking the peaceful forest. The Wi-Fi was very helpful as cell service was hit or miss in the surrounding area. It was also nice to have a washer/dryer available. The cabin is located very close to the bear creek overlook and the split arch trail. It is a perfect space for a family of 4 as it had two complete spacious bathrooms. ”

“The house was exactly as described and pictured. We had a great time on the lake, the view from the house is very pretty and we saw deer roaming about. We played games on the outside deck at the fire pit table. The decks were very clean and felt very comfortable to use. Overall a very nice place to stay. We will look into staying at this house again when visiting Deerfield. ”

“We booked this stay to enjoy the beautiful Cumberland lake area, fishing and exploring. EVERYTHING was just perfect the host was in constant communication with us and responded to our needs, the cabin was in the perfect location at the end of the road through our own gated safe community, we loved the hot tub, the game area and the whole cabin. We rented a pontoon and stayed out on the lake fishing and swimming, then ended the day with some yummy local food! My family will cherish these...
