“Room was very nice. I liked the cotton linens, pillows and wall decor. Pretty colors. Toiletries and towels were fine. TV had limited choices, which was no problem for us. Breakfast was cereal, biscuit and sausage gravy or fresh waffle. Coffee, orange and apple juice were also available.”

“When we arrived, there were problems with the room and the staff that was on the premises did what they could to fix things. We were booked to stay two nights so we spoke with the manager the next morning and while we were out, he got everything fixed. The Western Inn is a family owned hotel and they are in the process of renovating. From what we have seen, they are doing a great job. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are a nice size. “Southern hospitality is alive and well in Memphis! Very friendly staff. Our room was well cleaned. The complimentary soap smelled really nice. We accidentally turned the thermostat down too much on the fridge. Lol. Breakfast was better than expected: eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, granola bars, cereal, coffee and juice. So much value for the price. I would definitely stay here again. ”

“Staff were very polite, however I was unaware we booked a hotel right next to a interstate and truck stop so it was very noisy. They provided ear plugs but...The breakfast was good. However, the carpet and flooring were filthy - when I got in the shower the shower floor was dark from the dirt on my feet. That is one thing that really puts me off about any hotel. ”
