The food was fantastic and I understand her husband is head chef, Joseph Colman. The rooms were attractive and very comfortable with lovely bathrooms. “Friendly welcome. Tasty evening meal from a good choice of dishes. Very comfortable nights sleep and great full English breakfast to dsend us on our way. Lighting rather dim: bathroom possibly requires new fluorescent bulb: in bedroom, one of the three bulbs u/s so needs replscing and LHS bedside light bulb was quite dusty. Ligting ptroblem reported to management who took note and said they would sort asap. ”

“Good old pub. Family room large, and nice that it was provided with pods / machine for coffee and hot chocolate, and a kettle for the tea. Extra orange and apple juice, as well as milk in a fridge in the hallway. Local drinks available and we later sat by the fire. We had eaten earlier in the day so did not try and evening meal, but they were booked out Bed was firm and comfy, and we slept well. Cooked full "Miner's" breakfast in the morning, with mostly local produce was great. Other foods...
