Nella camera correvano tubi bollenti che facevano da termosifone. Alle rimostranze di mia moglie alla cameriera l’unica risposta è stata: lo sappiamo (!). Ho chiesto del direttore il quale nonostante il mio stentato inglese si è guardato bene dal dirmi che era italiano. È venuto nella stanza e non ha potuto che...

“We had a lovely two night couples break at Kimbers Farm. The shepherds hut is so comfortable and just the right side of luxury rustic! Possibly the comfiest bed I’ve slept in away from home. The wood fired hot tub adds a sense of fun and is easy to use. We also enjoyed cooking outside (gas hob available inside!). The shower/toilet “block” is great, well equipped and clean. “Merv, met us when we got to the house. Clear instructions given of checking in. Four of us stayed here to catch up. We had a curry from the Indian in Wincanton which was delivered and very tasty. The beds were comfortable, two rooms with double beds, one can be converted to a twin if needed and another room with a single bed. There is an upstairs bathroom with shower over the bath, sink and toilet. There is also a downstairs toilet. We had a walk round Wincanton, there is a Co-op which was open...
