“The property is within a stone's throw from everything in Bowness, but that's about it. The flat itself is spacious, but it is meh. It lacks some touches, and most amenities need refurbishing/replacing. Only one vertical fan was available, and the small fans in each room is a heater/fan combo that does not provide cooling especially in the heat. “Lovely apartment . Loved the colourful light above window table which got bright sun in the morning, very well equipoed kitchen area and great full stretch bath to soak away alot of walking. Excellent location for Bowness amenities and the lake and about 20 mins steady walk back to train station. Buses, cafes 2 minutes away. Only slight niggle were fibre pillows bit hard and flat for me but i was that tired from being out and about it didnt stop me sleeping and i would stay again 😊”

“When we checked in, the kitchen floor and sink were full of black ants. We immediately notified the host, who replied promptly and said he would bring insecticide. In the end, we managed to get rid of most of them ourselves by constantly scrubbing the floor and sink. To keep the ants away, we had to thoroughly clean the kitchen every time we used it."”
