“My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was clean and lovely, the staff were friendly and kind, and the breakfast was very filling and delicious. Also, the hotel has spacious parking, and it is not too far from Windermere station, the lake, or many restaurants and shops. Each is about a 10-15-minute walk away. “The best points about The Coppice are that the staff are lovely and friendly, the breakfast is cooked perfectly and it has its own car park. It was about a 20 min walk into Bowness but we didn’t mind that too much as the weather was good. Loved our room which was in the annex and had its own private garden where we enjoyed relaxing with a cup of tea. Would recommend and would definitely return. ”

“For the price not what we were expecting, much smaller than the photos led to believe, smell of damp, grout in shower news mildew remover also overflow in sink needs toothbrush it was black , found rubbish and 5p under the bed. Also was told we could park outside and we received a parking ticket.”
