“Very beautiful 100 year old house, with period furnishings. It is very clean and the hostess was nice and helpful. It is walking distance to the town of Barre which has several dining options and nice downtown. The breakfast was excellent, made with local produce and ingredients. It is a great location as a base to visit different places in Vermont.”

“We absolutely loved staying here! The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind throughout our stay. Our kids especially loved the game room and the pool, and they had so much fun exploring the stream and walking path just outside the hotel—they didn’t want to leave! “No anonymous decor here. Each room in this converted old home was uniquely furnished with period furniture and comfortable, though our room could use a good deep cleaning. Breakfast was very good and it was an easy walk to everything in town.”

“This hotel it a hidden gem. The breakfast was way better than I expected it to be. It had everything waffles bagels donuts fruit. String cheese. Was overwhelmed deciding what to pick. Air-conditioning worked well. No issue checking in Early around 1:00 pm to get to the gate at Do Good Fest for 1:30 pm when the gate opened. East to get in after the concert. Everything was excellent clean. Plenty of towels soap etc. even had spectrum internet. Only 15 minutes from National life group by. Car....

“Large clean room, a microwave and fresh water were available, pool was wonderful the sauna and hot tub available. We loved the location, and had a marvelous time. The stream in the back of the property where we could walk was wonderful, and the patio each room had was great for us with the dog”

“It was very cute however there was a few misconceptions shown online. For one there wasn’t any indication it was right off the road. The pictures online show it to be tucked in the woods. I also was confused when I checked in to realize we weren’t staying the in the cabin we were staying in a motel room. The pictures all showed a cabin. It wasn’t explained that the “classic room” was not a cabin room. Also the activities listed were not on site and extra costs. When I called to verify if we...

“We had an unexpected stop due to car issues late at night, and Kathy at the check in desk was wonderful. Kind, welcoming, and even later checked to make sure we had enough towels. Gave us recommendations on where to eat later at night. We just passed through so didn’t get to utilize any of the amenities. A bit older with drop ceiling in rooms, but clean and very convenient.”

“This place is a hidden gem. The hotel has spacious and clean rooms. Our air conditioning worked just great ( in fact it got so cool at night that we had to shut the ac off in the morning).
