“We stayed for a week earlier this month and truly enjoyed the experience From Christina to the front desk to the folk who attended to our room, we couldn't ask for better The newly renovated rooms was so nicely done that I even remarked that I that want that in our new home. Loved the comfort of the desk chair** Linens were high end .Met the owner during our stay-- so nice to be family owned instead of a chain,”

“The staff were very friendly and helpful. WiFi was iffy to connect at times. It was not password protected. The room kitchen was nice. Dishes, pots and pans on request at front desk. There was an elevator. Good parking. Easy on-off I-84. Coffee bar in am.”

L'albergo è in una zona tranquillissima, non certo turistica in sè, non lontana dalla capitale Hartford, ma comunque, come la maggior parte degli Stati Uniti, non è facile girare senza un mezzo di trasporto. Se si ha bisogno di un albergo come punto d'appoggio per poi girare per il Connecticut, è semplicemente ottimo.”

“Beautiful place with a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Dimitri was gracious and knowledgeable about the house and town history. Loved it!!!”

“The Goodwin is a shell of its former self. Bar is not open on Sundays or Mondays, breakfast was worse than a Comfort Inn. Zero amenities. The Valet staff was wonderful. The rest of the staff was next to useless. Asked for 1 hour late check out and was just summarily told no.”

“Okay for a one night stay in order to be near family we were visiting. Room smelled musty, bathroom was good sized and seemed clean but room itself felt a bit shabby. Front desk staff member when we checked in was polite enough but not friendly and seemed like she didn’t want to be there.”

“Might be the nicest super 8 ive ever stayed in. For the price point, nothing to complain about. Late checkout was cheap & accommodating, AC worked, no bugs, close to food & convenience store. What more can you ask for from a motel.”

“The room was very clean amd the beds were very comfortable. However, the AC wouldn't stay on and had to be switched on every 30 minutes. Breakfast was cold cereal and coffee with a sign stating they are only required to offer the bare minimum. Ultimately, I would not stay here again.”

“This is a truly lovely property. The grounds are exquisite and include a 75' lap pool and lovely patio and area for artist retreats. Nice robes, comfy linens, a fabulous shower. Fireplace that throws a good amount of heat and easy to use air conditioning. Good instruction book. Some small details were overlooked--a nice coffee nook to make tea or coffee but no water available to use or drink.”
