“The room was clean, and staff was helpful. I found it strange that the front desk had restrictions on the TVs volume. Remote would not work or couldn’t be adjusted without their assistance. The coffee maker in the room and refrigerator did not work properly. The refrigerator froze everything, when adjusted it was either to warm or way to cold. The air conditioner was so loud, it made it difficult to sleep. This was not somewhere I would stay again for longer than a night, our 3 day stay was...

“The breakfast room is enormous, so many people were able to find a seat. Unfortunately, the food was nothing special, just the classic scrambled eggs, waffles, cereal. The way they handle coffee is inefficient, so a long line formed. The property looks new and has a huge amount of parking spots. The outdoor pool is nice. The room was clean, and the beds are comfortable.”

“Very clean hotel with attentive staff. Parking was a bit tight, but okay. All rooms seemed to be on the 2nd and 3rd floors with the reception desk and breakfast area on the first floor. Beds were comfortable, linens nice. Rooms had carpet.”

“This property is under renovation, but it is an absolutely mess. Sure it was quiet, because no one else was staying there. There were cockroaches in our room, the room had NOT been cleaned and one of the beds in our room was stripped down to the mattress with the linens left on the armchair. The mattress had a massive red circular stain that looked either like blood or juice, but the stain pattern was bizarre; empty of stain in the middle of the circle, but red everywhere else. It didn’t...

“We have always been able to depend upon Hampton Inns for excellence...until now! The property is rundown; needed paint; carpet was filthy and left our feet and shoes black on the bottoms; sheets did not fit the bed; breakfasts were not up to what we had come to expect based upon other Hampton Inns; corners of room and bath were dirty. Someone had knocked a hole in the closet door which had been very poorly repaired and left unpainted. We were very disappointed in this hotel in Lubbock, TX.”

“The room was incredibly dusty. The sheets didn't feel fresh; there was a lot of hair on them. The floor was dirty—the amount of dust in that room was shocking.”
