Hotel a Womersley

“Excellent location. We managed to get a free parking space just down the road. Just a short walk into the city. We had a big room at the front overlooking the street and garden with a huge bay window. Very clean. Breakfast was wonderful. They cater for everyone including vegans, which was a bonus and the table service was very quick. Food was hot and delicious. Staff were all very polite. The only negative was the extremely firm mattress, which I struggled with., but it wouldn't stop us staying...

“A return to a favourite hotel, looking beautiful with all the Christmas lights and decorations. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The menu had changed slightly and we enjoyed a lovely meal. We will return. ”

“Clean comfortable rooms traditional Victorian style characters. We were upgraded to the apartments across the road in a Victorian style property which was really spacious. The staff are lovely and helpful and the hotel was so Christmassy! This is my second stay and I will be staying again on my next trip to York.”

“Vicino al ponte sul fiume, potrete raggiungere il centro storico in un attimo e vedere cosi' il Duomo e le Shambles, ovvero l'antico mercato. York non mantiene gli aspetti medievali che promette ma potrete vedere la sua principale attrazione, cioe' il suo forte ricollegabile ai Vikinghi e alla storia degli York in genere. Tutto questo a due passi dall'albergo”

“I would avoid it if possible. Hotel is quite dated and the lifts take a long time. Room is not soundproof and not very comfortable bedding”

“Un albergo che,anche se distante dal centro di York,offre il meglio dell'albergatoria inglese:confort,silenzio,eleganza,calore.Il fatto di essere fuori città non crea disagio perchè un delizioso sentiero lungo il fiume porta in città a piedi in 40 minuti,oppure l'autobus n.11 ferma proprio davanti all'hotel,ed ovviamente i taxi che portano a destinazione in 10 minuti con una spesa più che onesta.E' un paradiso in mezzo ai prati che solo in inghilterra sono così verdi!”

“Lovely couple run the pub & accomodation! All facilities excellent! Church clock strikes every hour through the night! It did disturb a bit! Otherwise all good! ”

“On arrival the staff were very pleasant and welcoming, the room was spotless and better than advertised the minimal shop downstairs was more than adequate the only criticism is the parking situation but you are made aware well in advance overall a fantastic stay and would recommend.”

“Sicuramente è un hotel molto carino con un buon serviIo e personale gentile. Molto complicato il parcheggio che non è nell hotel sebbene si siano attrezzati in modo da assicurarti il posto auto in un parcheggio affianco. Le camere non sono grandissime ma hanno l essenziale così come la colazione - molto misera rispetto ai soliti Marriott però comunque buon cibo. ”
