My daughter pulled the kayak out and she ran circles around John and my canoe while we explored the inlets. It gave all three of us a chance to enjoy the water together which was one of the reasons we picked this place. The home was quirky with the cheeky taxidermy, and had gorgeous view windows...

“We stayed for two nights.Very easy communication with the owner. The AC upstairs did not cool adequately, which was a bit challenging given the 80 degrees. Also, the dock to the river was broken down and difficult to access with the kayaks.Otherwise, we enjoyed ourselves and the proximity to lots of beautiful sightseeing very much.”

“This is a wonderful place to stay! It is very large and comfortable. The views of the Patuxent are jaw-dropping. The kitchen is big, beautiful, and well stocked with everything you could ever need. The house is spotlessly clean. We spent almost our entire stay on the deck, eating meals at the large outdoor table. We did have a small issue but it was quickly and efficiently remedied by the owner, who was just great about communication. We loved it.”
