“Room was absolutely amazing couldn't fault at all clean & had everything needed, staff was friendly & so helpful they only thing that let the place down was the breakfast but honestly cant fault the rest the staff was amazing & didnt charge for the breakfast thank yous so much for everything”

“Booked a double room but got a room with 3 single beds. Not the end of the world but not what I booked. Beds were uncomfortable. Mattress was really thin, when you sat on it you were basically sat on the bed base and when you laid on the bed you could feel the springs in your back and side. The walls were wafer thin, you can hear the tap running and toilet etc from the room next door. Also the water in the bathroom made a right racket when you ran the tap, shower or flushed the toilet. “On arrival we were greeted with a bottle of wine biscuits and a bottle of milk which was a lovely touch. It is a lovely place to stay and would have no problem booking again.”

“We have never visited The Lakes and wanted an overnight stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Would highly recommend staying here. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The food for the evening meal in the restaurant was lovely followed by breakfast the next day, with plenty of options. Also helped with have parking facilities on site and free for visitors to the hotel. Was not disappointed with our stay, and would definitely visit again in the future”

“Very friendly and welcoming. Excellent breakfasts and generally a comfortable place to stay. Having a guest fridge and being able to heat your own food instead of eating out every evening was a great facility.”
