“Nice hotel and staff. Good food. Breakfast menu could do with being explained a little better and also having to pay for teas and coffees as these were not included in the breakfast was not good. We were in a “cosy double” which was fine but would have been even better if they removed the chair and added a chest of drawers or some shelves. ”

“The Richard Onslow is a nice property in a nice little town. However please review your parking. Locals use the parking spaces so there were none free consequently we ended up paying for parking and walking some way with our bags. When raised with the pub they asked the locals to move but by the time we got our car over someone had parked there again! I suggest if you know you have guests coming you cone the spaces off. We only booked based on parking.”

“Check-in was a breeze, and we were promptly escorted to our generously sized room. A delightful surprise awaited our furry friend—a thoughtful gift of treats and a tennis ball. While the room boasted charming décor and ample comfort, there were minor indications that cleaning could have been more thorough, with traces of dust on certain surfaces and toiletries not replenished. “Would recommend this to anyone! Friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful bed, so comfy. Lovely large room with tea & coffee making, ironing board, iron, and a jar of jelly beans! Very clean. Had a meal in the restaurant with friends. It was delicious. I had cottage pie, our friends had the pork stuffing pie, great desserts and was not overpriced either.”

“Perfectly situated close to the city centre, there’s a car park and you can walk to most of the city’s attractions. Our room was on the first floor and had a balcony overlooking the garden. It was comfortable and had pretty much everything you needed. The breakfast was excellent with fresh local produce. The pub has a good selection of beers and a good restaurant. “Clean, cheerfully decorated and in the perfect location right by the sea. Every detail taken care of, milk, butter and wine in the fridge. Will book again. Perfect for coastal walks.”
