“Lovely lovely old hotel/pub in a charming village. Dear Lord it was so hot when we were there but we hada turbo fan provided. Parking is slightly limited but we always nabbed a space. Everything was clean and the restaurant was great. The best place for miles.”

“The food was very good and staff great. Grace was a wonderful server. The inn is certainly olde and genuine. Not a pretend olde . Rooms are very unusual with individual names. All are separate from the pub. Obviously the pub is the main venue for the local population. The room was modest size but had two TVs. The shower floods the bathroom. Not a big deal.”

“Check-in and check-out were incredibly easy. The room and the washroom, were quite spacious and clean. The complimentary coffee and tea were nice, and they also have a nice selection of juices and breakfast foods available downstairs for guests to enjoy. The slight downsides were the hair dry being quite dusty when I tried to use it, and the building is rather old so the windows had a slight draft. This wasn't an issue for us during the summer, but I can see it being slightly cold in the winter....

“Very quaint pub in a quiet village - but full of life and character, obviously popular with locals and visitors alike. The staff were super friendly. Food was great. Our room was unique and full of old pub charm including sloping floors, but it was super clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom was well appointed.”
