“A cozy hotel (closer to a B&B) in the Areni village of Vayots Dzor. We stayed in the off season and were, consequently, the only two guests on that day. In addition to managing the hotel, the owner, Eric, has a small-production winery with some very decent vintages. “They have a spacious spa, so there’s always plenty of room. The pool was heated, clean, and the staff were excellent. My only comment would be about the bathroom doors in the room, they’re sliding doors from inside the bathroom, leaving both sides somewhat open and visible.”
