“We stayed at Wisteria Cottage for 6 days in April 2024 and can only recommend this cottage: it was very clean and all the necessary things for daily use are available. The location in Topsham is great as you can walk to many restaurants and pubs. The cottage is right on the High Street but we didn't find the traffic disturbing. In short, we would come back at any time.”

“River crest is a lovely comfortable well equipped cottage with everything we needed for our weeks stay. It was clean and has a good shower. The bed was cosy and comfortable. The best thing is the view across looe and out to sea. Looe is a very nice place to stay with good shops and pubs. It is handy for a number of national trust properties. “We enjoyed staying at 5 Shadycombe cottage. Owner sent lots of useful information by email shortly before stay. The cottage was compact, clean and well equipped. The bathrooms were a little compact. The cottage location and proximity to Salcombe allowed us to walk into town. We found fabulous art store, along with a great bakery for breakfast goods and pasties, in addition fudge, chocolate and ice cream stores all very yummy. “Lovely cottage, very comfortable and homely. The road is narrow, quite busy and there are no pavements, so walking along the road can be a bit hazardous. The walk along the edge of the estuary is pretty muddy and requires boots or wellies.”

“Getting to Peacehaven was quite an event, the main roads are easy to navigate. The lanes are a different story, narrow with passing places, very constricted by high banks needing a lot of concentration to navigate safely. Wind your door mirrors in unless you want the drivers side damaged by passing traffic on the lanes. Peacehaven once reached gave fabulous views out to Bigbury on Sea, Banntham Bay, Burgh Island and its hotel with the seascape beyond as well as the estuary leading inland. The...

“2 Fish Cellars certainly lived up to expectations, everything was just so, enjoyed it immensely, even had a go in the Hot Tub! The views are amazing and we were so lucky with the November weather. However even if it had rained non stop, you could just drink in the views. Certainly will be returning.”

“Looe is my happy place. The cottage was a standard fisherman's cottage and was clean, well kept and had all the things you need. Only down side is the stairs which even for able bodied people are difficult at times (carrying cups of tea) however that was advised so it is still a 5/5 from us.”
