2 giorni in un'atmosfera familiare, cortese e molto disponibili, complimenti al ragazzo del ricevimento per l'ottimo servizio con rapidità ed efficacia nel gestire gli imprevisti dovuti alla troppa neve!! Lo consigliamo a tutte quelle persone che vogliono trascorrere un fine settimana da favola.

Great hotel in Zermatt
A great hotel and even more amazing staff. Very accommodating and very pleasant. The rooms with a view of the Matterhorn are awesome. The hotel is only a block away from the Cable car and about a 15 min walk to the train station.

The staff were wonderful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel was in overall clean condition and a decent value. We we lucky and had a great view of the Matterhorn from our room. The morning breakfast was also quite good. We liked the location near the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise aerial cable car. The only negative is that the hotel clearly hasn’t had a refresh/update in quite a number of years. Other than that, we appreciated the stay and the staff especially.

The wellness/spa was incredible! The location to the main gondola was fantastic - was a 30 second walk which made life so easy. They have a ski locker room with boot warmers which was a great touch. Breakfast was really good, has a cool bar, and all the staff were so accommodating. It’s about 10 mins walk to the main shopping street, and the rooms with Matterhorn are just perfect.

Très bien!
The building was older with a small lift that was tight for 3 people and luggage but quaint and added to character of place. The concierge, Dan, was exceptionally helpful and offered great advice and direction. His service and knowledge made the stay extremely successful and enjoyable. The room we were given had an outstanding view of the Matterhorn from the balcony and provided a beautiful backdrop to wake up to.

Hôtel bien situé à l'extérieur de Zermatt. L'hôtel fait un peu "vieillot", mais la chambre avec vue sur le Cervin est vraiment agréable. Les 2 seuls "bémols": le store ne fonctionnait pas, mais ne n'était pas grave car il y a le rideau, et la pression de l'eau pour la douche n'est pas très forte. Du choix pour le (petit-) déjeuner et le personnel aux petits soins! A recommander!

Das Hotel ist bereits älter wird aber gemäss Aussage des Rezeptionisten nächstes Jahr renoviert. Die Lage des Hotels ist nahe der Bergbahn somit perfekt für Wanderer/Biker. Ins Zentrum ist es zu Fuss maximal 10 Minuten. Die Sicht aus unserem Zimmer (mit Balkon) auf das Matterhorn war perfekt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt.

Enjoyable stay
Great place to stay. Very close to the chair lift up the mountain. Service was great. Dan answered all our questions. Their wellness room is amazing (jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, etc.). The room has robes so you can wear those to go in their wellness room. They also have a restaurant for breakfast and a bar for drinks. They offer pickup and drop off services from the Zermatt train station. The pickup was free but the drop off was 10 CHF. Rooms are a little tight but enough for 2 people. Our room had a balcony with the view of the Matterhorn. It was absolutely stunning!

Das Personal verdient ein GROSSES KOMPLIMENT!
Die Unterkunft ist ideal gelegen, wenige Meter von der Gondelbahn (Matterhorn Express) entfernt. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Ein GROSSES KOMPLIMENT geht an das Personal. Die Dame an der Rezeption hat uns super beraten und war sehr hilfsbereit. Auch die restlichen Mitarbeitenden waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. DANKE!

visiting the Matterhorn
We choose to stay here when visiting Zermatt and th Matterhorn. It’s a distance from the train station (Zermatt is car free, but had taxis). The best views of Matterhorn are by taking th train to Gornergrat not by taking the gondola or so we were told. The gondola is close to this hotel. It is further up the mountain in Zermatt. Small room if you are skiing but it does offer views of the Matterhorn whereas I doubt many others in Zermatt do.

Comfortable and clean
Beautiful, well maintained hotel with many amenities. Ski slopes are practically outside your door. We especially enjoyed our balcony with a beautiful view of the Matterhorn. Expensive considering it was not the height of the season and the hotel did not provide local transportation (other hotels did but the one labeled “Antares” was garaged.) 15-20 minute walk to the center of town where there are many shops and restaurants. We would stay here again if in Switzerland.

Ski vacation
If you are interested in ski only, it is best located hotel in Zermatt. It is 1 min from the lift. Also, the breakfast is very good and staff is very helpful. But, room is very small. Yes, I am aware about room size in Europe, but this one is really tiny. The second problem, the Wi-Fi connection is very poor. The only place in a room where I can download my mail was near the room front door. So, if you plan to ski all day, spend the evening in restaurants and only sleep in the room -it is perfect. If you expect to spend significant amount of time in your room, or ski is not your prime interest, there are better hotels options in Zermatt

Perfect location for skiing, right next to MHE lift. Friendly staff, great service. Breakfast solid. Easy shuttle to train station or town center if needed... or a 15 min walk. Will be back!

Nice hotel-needs better beds
Great location-close to the Matter Horn Express gondola and close to the apres ski parties! The room we had had a terrible bed, making it near impossible for me to sleep each night. It was so small and sloped off to the side, making the already small sleeping area smaller! The spa area is nice but was ruined by naked men walking around. I get that it is a spa and it is in Europe, but it is also a hotel, not your own private sauna or even a spa business- cover yourself up. The hotel provides robes (in your room) and towels in the spa area so really no need for 4-5 naked men walking around making it uncomfortable to be in there.

Lucky enough to get a room with a direct view of the Matterhorn. As is all too common throughly Europe, the "double" bed was two singles pushed together. Rather uncomfortable. Small room but good enough.

Friendly welcome, perfect location, great view. The negative side was not the hotels fault but due to inaccurate hotels.com information: breakfast is not included, hotel has not 20 (!!!)restaurants, taxes are not all included and there is no charge of 40 Swiss Francs when paying by VISA, as claimed by hotels.com
