“Reception staff sullen; restaurant staff overrun, service slow. Food quality poor. Hotel looks good but otherwise nothing special. Shower awful - hot then cold, lost pressure during my shower. Grounds have some interesting photo opportunities for weddings but disjointed and tacky for any other time.”

Er is geen lift aanwezig, dus als je slecht te been bent, beter beneden boeken. But at 8:30pm I had a message saying I wouldn't be able to check in after 9 as the bar shuts at that point. “Tired, run down. Did make me slightly nostalgic I suppose, remembering the 1980s with the food and decor. The very few Staff that were there (if you could find them) were lovely, but I couldn’t overcome the feeling that the place had been deserted and left to rot. Breakfast near inedible but evening meal was ok. Nonetheless, not terrible value for money.”

“We attended for a wedding, the venue and all the staff were amazing. Our room was missing a put up bed which was organised straight away and many apologies were revieved. The room was spotless although as the bathroom window was open while we partied away, a team of bugs decided to enter and party in our bath tub! Not the hotel's fault but did need to keep the door closed to make sure the party didnt expand to the bedroom and did make us feel a bit yucky by morning. The joys of having nature at...
