On the bicycles we will return to the route and stop at a point along the way to enjoy a picnic with a spectacular view. We will continue the route towards the Maras salt mines, where the coveted Maras salt, one of the finest in the world, is collected. We will see almost 3,000 pools that in Inca times were an important centre for the imperial economy. Today it continues to be a valuable source of income for hundreds of families.
