The island is formed by two parties:
One is the cliff side (wee call caldera) and have 1) Fira the capital of the island have about everything view, shopping, restaurants etc.2) Firosterfani, Imerovigli view and restaurants. 3) Oia view,shopping,restaurants and best attraction for sunset.
Second: flat side-beach side
Kamari, Perissa, Perivolos ( black sand) , restaurants, shopping.
Akrotiri ( red and white beach ) also archaeological place.
Very good spot is Pyrgos village u can walk through the old village and then go up to the mountain Profitis Ilias.
In the island have 260 churches and about 17 winery's you can visit most of them.
