What you can expect

After being collected from your Tunis accommodation, you'll make your way to Carthage where you will to discover the ruins and and visit the American cemetery. You'll wander through a few acres of grass, discovering flowers and a wide variety of century-old trees that are the resting place of the 3,000 soldiers who gave their lives during World War II.

Your tour then moves on to Sidi Bou Said to explore the beauty of the blue and white city. There you can enjoy the strikingly white houses built in a typical architectural style, as well as the winding alleys. Next up, explore the Nejma Ezahra Palace, which is the sumptuous residence that Baron Rodolphe d'Erlanger built at the beginning of the 20th century in between painting and playing musical instruments. It is a masterpiece in the true sense of the word.

Following palace you will visit Dar Alaïa. At the peak of the hill of the mythical village of Sidi Bou Saïd, it is an exhibition-tribute to the great Tunisian couturier Ezzedine Alai. Following lunch, visit the Bardo Museum, which is famous especially for its collection of Roman mosaics which are considered the largest and the richest around the globe. You'll finally depart to the Medina of Tunis. At the heart of the Medina lies the second-oldest mosque in Africa, the Zitouna Mosquée. Expanding over an area of 5,000 square metres, it is a masterpiece of architecture and the ultimate expression of Tunisian architecture. Once having finished exploring the mosque, you will be returned to your accommodation in Tunis.
