Description

Learn to cook home-made pasta, pizza or risotto in a typical home in central Milan. Get hands-on help preparing your own lunch or dinner from a friendly professional chef. Enter the home of your teacher in one of the most dynamic districts of the city. Follow her guidance to prepare a menu of typical recipes using fresh produce and raw ingredients sourced from the local market.

Start your pasta class by preparing the dough for a lasagne. Roll it out to fill with ingredients for the baking, and then prepare the dough for authentic ravioli (filled dumplings, sealed between 2 layers of thin pasta dough). Discover how to make perfect tagliatelle to complete your meal. Alternatively, get hands-on help to make a delicious risotto or a pizza with toppings.

Enjoy the fruits of your labour with your chef and learn how to combine local recipes with fine Italian wines. Get a copy of all the recipes you prepared to continue your cooking adventure back at home!

Initial reaction 'Whoa! Where am I going and what have I got myself into?" The hosts could not have been nicer, friendlier and knowledgeable. This really is a hands on (in the pasta dough) experience. We made the best Tiramisu I have ever tasted in my life. I thought I already knew how to make the pasta sauce. Not! Now I'm an expert! Our 2 children (9 & 11) had a blast and are now planning their next birthday parties as a pasta making experience for their friends. Do it!

Evangelista and her daughter were so welcoming. The recipes turned out wonderful and we ate our finished product on a shaded deck. I’m ordering my pasta rollers today to carry forth what I learned.
