Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be able to breathe underwater? If you would like to try scuba diving but are not yet ready for a full course that ends with a "Brevet" (i.e. a diver's licence), Discover Scuba Diving (often referred to as "taster diving") is for you. Big Blue Diving Mallorca also offers this programme from the beach. Discover Scuba Diving is not a "Brevet" diving course, but a quick and easy introduction to the underwater world, where you dive with a scuba diving equipment. To enrol in this Discover Scuba Diving programme, you must be at least 10 years old. You do not need to have any previous diving experience, but you must be in good health. Also swimming skills are an advantage ! The programme starts every day at 10.30 am and at 3 pm. About 1 hour of the programme is theory and preparation, the other hour is spent in the water. First we train some techniques in shallow water. At the end we will have a dive along the coast.
