“They were trying but the towels were thin, scratchy, and grey. The bedding was pilled. We were told there would be an electric kettle but none was provided. The A/C worked well. “Our stay at Mermaid Eco Resort was nowhere near a plain sailing. I booked a Studio room called LAKE OSHO. We were visiting during the late monsoon & it was drizzling all day. There was no electricity (because of a phase to ground fault of local electrical line) for a prolonged time from the get go. Even after the power was restored, it didn’t remain seamless. The generator backup was laughable & I might be wrong but didn’t see it in action. The ventilation fan of the washroom was inoperable....
