Hotel vicino a Albert Hall - Canberra

“Best hotel we've stayed in in Australia. Lovely 1920s building, helpful staff, attractive bar, good location for many sites and on a number of bus routes (Canberra is not a very pedestrian-friendly city). Only quibble would be that, as one of the, possibly the, leading hotel(s) in the Commonwealth capital, a wider selection of Australian wines, and notably some from the smaller wine regions (for example, Beechworth, VIC) could be available.”

“The property location was excellent but the cleanliness of the room was very poor. The headboard, couch, and carpet were all stained. The sheet had a small tear in it. The wardrobe had a pile of dust, and the bathroom floor under the vanity hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Room 111.”

“A top notch experience for our four night stay in a one bedroom apt at East Hotel in Canberra. Underground parking was a key consideration for our stay and it worked well ($20 a night). Very pleasant and helpful staff and a great restaurant (Italian) downstairs where we had both breakfast and dinner a couple of times. Fast wifi. “Easy to access. Parking available. Central to everything we needed”

“Property is a bit tired and could do with a bit of a freshen up, that aside, bed was comfy, bathroom a little on the cramped side but immaculately clean. There is an onsite restaurant (that only does takeaway) and guest laundry ($5 load) and easy walk to Manuka where there are loads of places to eat and a Coles to grab any nessecities”
