“All was lovely. The staff were pleasant. Typical Javanese Breakfast of rice, noodles, tempeh and coffee was good. The room was nice and location was on a quite Street just off of Ijen with several local restaurants nearby. We were hoping to extend our stay for a week but the WiFi was nonexistent and we could not get cell service in the room. WiFi worked okay in the lobby just outside but because of this we found another hotel just around the corner.”

When I mentioned this, I was told to call a laundry service myself, which made me question whether the “concierge” service really lives up to its name. There is no refrigerator in the room, and amenities such as toothbrushes are charged separately, so considering these points, the hotel may feel a bit overpriced. “All my reviews are by the Rules & Regulations of Expedia. First the good....few employees are 5 STAR: 1) Miss Mayan from the Reception is nice, polite, helpful, speaks good English. 2) Miss Rara from the Reception is nice and polite. 3) Mr. Harry for the Cafe/Restaurant is nice, polite. Now, the not so good...lots of NOISE. I FELT UNSAFE. NO INTERNET for few HOURS. NO ELECTRICITY for few HOURS. I will NOT GO TO this HOTEL.”
