“A truly exceptional place to stay. The room was clean, comfortable and well-equipped with a lovely balcony, and the staff were very friendly. Fresh towels and toiletries were attentively refilled on the second day even without us requesting. The breakfast was delicious too, there were beautiful flowers and trees in the garden behind the restaurant. Both our baby and our dog enjoyed their time there.”

“The Hotel for the price you pay was ok. The bed was clean, however no mattress protection was laid down. The bathroom was also clean. The rest of the room as not as clean as i would have hoped and looked tired. The location however is excellent! Parking was suffient and only a 3min walk in the famous all creatures great and small area. ”

Their website states that breakfast is made to order and I recall seeing it on the expedia page but then was notified a day before about where to go for food instead. I asked on arrival and they have not served breakfast in 3 years. Inconvenient but not the end of the world. The shower had someone else's soap in it and the body wash was never renewed after use. “Absolutely appalling, the tiny room smells of damp and is essentially a health risk with mouldy ceilings and one very rusty oil heater. Dimly lit bathroom which again is another risk. We removed ourselves from the hotel (probably wrong choice of word) and booked ourselves into a hotel in the centre, Wetherspoons Hotel was fabulous. I raised with Hotels.com who had failed to help with my refund request. ”
