Having stayed at a couple others including Lords of the Manor, the positives of this one in comparison are: its easier to get to from London, the grounds are amazing and impeccable, its a truly remote feel among the hills, land and animals of Cotswolds, and the michelin starred Dining Room is probably the best food in the Cotswolds. “Very nice with warm and welcoming atmosphere. Staff were absolutely brilliant. Food was excellent. Room was comfy and warm. Bed was lovely, didn't want to get up lol. Would definitely stay again and recommend. Prices were excellent. Thank you. My wife's hot chocolate was fabulous.

Our room overlooked the parking lot with our window directly in front of a parked car We asked to be moved and got a room on the back side facing some greenery but had a passageway for staff hauling noisy laundry carts right outside the window. Hallway rugs are tired and worn. Atmosphere was institutional and soulless. Location is off a round about in the middle of nowhere with poor signage to find the property.
