“The location of the hotel was very good. The hotel was a little bit old fashion but the room we stayed was in a section relatively new and clean. Overall the staff was polite and helpful except the lady we first met during the check-in. We asked for a quiet room as we have sent an request message via Expedia in advance but the lady said there was no any message received and all rooms were quite full already before check the computer. “If all you are looking for is a place to get your head down prior to getting the Ferry then it’s first class comfort very close to the ferry terminal”

“This is a nice hotel, had a couple of days here on business, shame not to have the time to enjoy the lovely surroundings.”

“Great friendly staff, nice touch for the kids... they were given a voucher ea to to choose beteen, a cold drink, a hot choc with marshmallowsor an ice-cream from the bar. Slso free fizzy drinks, crisps and kitkats in the mini-fridge in tge room were nice touches. The only downer for the hotel as a whole was that there was no air-conditioning in the bedroom or the bar area and so the environment was fairly hot and stuffy.”

“The hotel is in an excellent location, and there is free parking. The room was fine, although the blinds did not black out the light fully. The staff could not have been more helpful and were delightful, and the food was very good.”

“Two adults stayed. Used both bedrooms. Very hot but able to open windows. Enjoyed the upstairs outside deck when we were there. Useful having washing machine. Plenty of street parking, but tight spaces & don’t rely on parking directly outside. Bathroom tiny but fit for purpose. Easy walk to beach front. Thank you ”

“was unable to sleep in the bed as the room had a major issue with black mould in the bathroom which had become airborne & affected the the entire room the smell was over powering slept in a chair as the bed was cover with the black mould smell & was unable to breath, suffer with chest infections which the spores got on my chest I had to call 111 & was directed to Ipswich hospital for antibiotics, never even stopped for breakfast on day 2 felt to ill on antibiotics for next 5 days, this all...
