Hotel a Big Sandy

“Hotel policy is new towels, fill shampoo etc. and make bed on day 2 and 4. Anything else needs to be requested. Ridiculous for the price. I was alone so I managed even though on late on day 2 I had to ask for towels from another housekeeper and on day 4 ask someone again. What about families? No vacuuming, no toilet cleaning, no clean bed linens? Should be automatically done.”

“The property is filling in the pool with cement or some kind of drit or sand. It is an out door pool that isn't going to be used with the why it looked to use cause it looked like they was filling it with something.”

“The rating on this property is very misleading. This place is a dive and i did not stay there, because i did not want to put my family in jeopardy of running into some meth head that lives at this property. The reason they dont offer a refund is because its way of them keeping the money without anyone staying there. One room I was shown had a bubbled floor and cuts all in the vinyl flooring and stunk to high heaven, like it had been flooded and not properly repaired. This place is a joke.”

“My reservation was for 3 people. We had towel for 2. Had to ask for more towels. Did received the towel. The next day again the cleaning staff left towels for 2 people. AGAIN HAD TO ASK FOR MORE TOWELS. The chair in the room had a broken leg. the Desk table was wobbly. The lamp shade had months of dust on them. The bedding was clean.”

“First off the price I was given when I reserved the room was less than what I actually paid! After I reserved the room I called the hotel to double check that my room had a Jacuzzi (that's the only reason I booked this hotel in the first place), when I got there my room had no Jacuzzi! Said it had water damage. Didn't give me a discount price since the room I reserved a week ahead wasn't ready. Room wasn't clean. Owner was extremely rude!”

“This was the perfect cabin camping I've ever experienced!! It was beautiful near the lakes plenty to do. The fire pit and bbq on site were amazing !! 10/10!!”

“No staff available. Had to call and wait for them to check in. We entered our room for about 5 minutes then never returned. The room was filthy. Bathroom was filthy with bug in tub. Holes in bathroom door. Beds were dirty with balled up hair on sheets. ”

“The main lights didn’t work at the door. There was roaches crawling on the counter top and in the sick in the bathroom. Comb under the bed mattress that looked like it had been there a while. Floor had dirt all over. Very unclean. Person living in the next room over had pets. Did not stay refused and received a refund.”
