“albergo di vecchia struttura, ma le stanze ed i bagni sono ristrutturati con materiali moderni, molto confortevoli, metropolitana ad un minuto a piedi. Lo consiglio a tutti anche se fuori dal centro e’ collegato benissimo ”

“Ho prenotato, per 2 notti, 2 camere con letto matrimoniale e mi han dato 2 camere con letti singoli. Dopo la richiesta di avere la camera esatta, mi hanno dato una camera che odorava di vecchio, muffa. Ci siamo fatti spostare e ci hanno dato una camera già occupata, ci hanno spostato ancora in una camera adatta. Nulla di che la camera se non per il fatto che era in mezzo a due camere già occupate da persone che si conoscevano e che han fatto casino fino a notte fonda. Nel parcheggio è presente...

“Only challenge was lack of hanging space in the single bedroom. The tv in the double bedroom takes up a lot of floor space unnecessarily ”

“Room was nice but in need of update, bed base was ripped and cushions were stale and in need of a wash. It was good to have a fully stocked fridge Bathroom was lovely and a good size. Breakfast was good but disappointing to have to pay for fresh coffee. The coffee in the table flasks was not the best. Overall hotel is nice and I have stayed here many times but could do with a few tweaks here and there.”

“Not sure how its a 4-star. Anyway, the restaurant was really good, great food (but a bit heavy on cheese and light on mushrooms in the risotto) and wine. Special recognition for Tilly, who was very attentive. The fire alarm went off 12 times in the night, really? The room, No. 17, was way too hot, maybe that's what triggered the alarm? The heated towel rail was on full and I couldn't see how to turn it off. The bathroom extractor fan ran on for ages.”

“La struttura è piuttosto datata anche se ben tenuta. L'area in cui si trova è veramente molto tranquilla e ideale se si dispone di una vettura. Le camere riflettono l'età della struttura e la pecca più grande è la mancanza dell'aria condizionata. Detto questo, la pulizia delle camere è ottima e tutto il personale (sia dell'albergo che del pub) è sempre gentile e disponibile. Comodo parcheggio a lato della struttura e piacevole sia il pub che l'annesso ristorante, anche qui il personale è...

“Very welcoming and friendly staff. Offered us a welcome drink which was lovely and we could use our rooms to drop our items as they had already been cleaned which was very helpful as we were in the area for a wedding. The amenities and room were great and bed was very comfortable. We were told that there would be live music until 11.30 and drinks available downstairs in the bar until 1pm but weren’t made aware of the loud music that would be playing which did continue until 1:30pm - we were...

“I stayed here one night before an early flight from stanstead. The hotel is conveniently located about 5 min drive to the airport. The chap at front desk was friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were both clean as was the shower. The room had tea making facilities and a hair dryer. The bed was not so good very bumpy, you could feel the springs, and parking is not free as stated I was charged £6. 50. Overall ok for a one night stay. ”
