“Screen door had to replaced,many electrical plugs did not work, or lose. Microwave had to be replaced. Helpful front desk. Had to change rooms.”

“The outside appeared to be recently redone and the bedding (including mattress) had clearly been updated. In stark contrast, the decor/furniture was a little dated. The appliances and sofa bed, however, are unacceptable. We booked a suite (King bed + sofa bed). When we checked in, the sofa bed was so bad that there was no way anybody would be able to sleep on it. We ended up having to book a second room. Fortunately, the mattresses were comfortable, so everyone slept well in the end (but...

“Stayed 2 nights, chosen for its location and reviews. Check-in was rough: I waited 15-20 minutes at the desk with luggage. Eventually a waitress standing there told me that it was a self check in and there should be a card on the second floor. She said in such of way that made me feel like it was obvious and I should have known this already. Found my Room #2 card, but the door code didn't work — I just turned the handle and it opened. The room itself was lovely: Victorian furniture, unique art....

“This was my first time here and it was great. Very clean and quiet and the hot tub was very enjoyable. Staff was very helpful. The room we were in was a joined cabin and we never heard our neighbours at all! It is a bit out of the way but it is very reasonably priced for everything you have access to! Make sure to bring a cooler to keep things cold as there is no room fridge.”

“This beautifully restored resort is full of friendly and helpful staff with smiles on their faces. It is the perfect spot to chill for a few days. I loved mid-morning coffee in the historic common area, the charm of the dining room, the ghost history tour, the historic photographs lining the walls and Leia the resort dog. The place would be absolutely perfect if they upped their game on the food side. The food is fine but this resort deserves the best.”

“Historic and eclectic buildings with amazing staff! A quiet area with discount to The Kingsbrae Gardens and a quick walk to downtown St. Andrew's. The only negatives were the price and the shower was tiny with very limited hot water.”
