“Jemseg Motel is definitely hidden away off the highway. There is a convenience store/ restaurant within about 5 minute drive, otherwise no other options for shopping or eating. The hotel is very dated but what stood out the most was there were no top sheets on the bed. I don't believe the comforter is washed after each patrons stay making sleeping extremely uncomfortable. Considering the nightly rate, overall not bad but I would, in future, stop earlier of move on down the highway.”

“The property was very clean and quiet which is great after a very long day travelling. The one thing I did notice is that we had to make a 100 deposit which was supposed to go directly back in our visa. It has been 6 days since we checked out and the visa says it is “pending”. Maybe all travellers should be aware that some hotels do not process it directly after you leave and the room is checked. Besides that it was all good.”

“Our room was clean, but dated. We did have a issue for the duration of our stay with a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway that was making it's way into the room. The staff said that they would make a note of it, but besides that, did not seem to care. No apologizes or a reduction of the bill.”

“The staff were very friendly, the room was clean, buffet breakfast was ok. The hotel is pet friendly but only to a point. If you plan on staying at this hotel you must be with your dogs at all times. They cannot be left unsupervised in the room, so if you plan on exploring Fredricton at all, keep in mind you must bring your dogs with you. What’s the point of having a pet friendly policy if you cannot leave them in the room a couple hours if you go out to eat or shop. I could understand if there...

“The pool was not open and the gym was therefore not able to be used either. We only found out about this when we went to go exercise/swim and found it locked. It wasn’t mentioned at check-in (which was about 20 min prior to trying to go to the closed amenity). It also was going to be opened later than normal the following morning so it wasn’t accessible the whole time we were there and it was a main reason we had booked here.
