“The fire alarm went off three times in the middle of the night, the alarm was faulty. No restaurant, but we paid top prices for sub par food on paper plates 😬. Waterside was out of order. Not a pleasant stay!”

“Stayed at River View Lodge — unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend it. The rooms had a strong musty smell, likely because of the carpet and the lack of sunlight/airflow into the rooms, which made it feel like they never fully dried out. The pool and hot spring tubs were definitely the highlight of the hotel. If you do decide to stay, I’d recommend requesting a room closer to the pool area. “The person at check-in was too busy looking at their phone to acknowledge us. We finally had to ask if we needed to call the number listed on the back of the computer for help. Then gave us a hard time about checking in early when it was already 3:00, not crowded, and rooms available. Also asked if there were places to sit outside and he said no when both floors have chairs outside to look at the sights. Also outside needs some attention with dead plants or overgrown plants.
