“We have stayed at this property many times over the last several years, this was not the best experience we have had. While the front staff was friendly and kind, there were several issues. First we woke up with no hot water and needed to be moved. The new room we were moved too was poorly renovated. There was paint on the floor in the bathroom, the kitchen table was wobbly, the bedroom doors could not be shut all the way or you would get stuck in them as they were so tight, the TV in the second...

“The staff were great including reception and restaurant. Issues were holes in the sheets and cracked glass windows looking outside towards the river. For what I paid, I expected more.”

“They should let you know if the pool is closed for the whole season. I was looking forward to laying out by the pool, but its closed. Also, we got a room with the big jetted tub. No stopper for the tub. Other than that it was a nice stay. The staff was super nice and helpful.”

“Was a nice place to stay. The property was set away from the major traffic on a service road, which was a plus for privacy and noise. The front desk was attentive to requests for an extra coffee packet and sugar. Room was clean, bed was clean, shower and facilities were clean. (I have a blood, urine light that exposes unclean surfaces)- a good thing to have when staying at a hotel. If I ever have to stay in Shreveport, LA. again, this will be one I will consider. “The room was super humid despite setting the AC on 68, very uncomfortable. The TV worked poorly though staff put in a good effort to try to make it work properly. Staff was a consistent positive but the humid room was grim. I've encountered this in other hotel/motels as well. WTH? Location was nothing special, but was surprisingly quiet given close proximity to a major highway. Breakfast was typical of this type of lodging...reasonably good. Good coffee! Cheerful staff!”

“Bedding looked like it was 20+ years old, definitely run down. Crackhead knocking on our door at 3AM. Even for a cheap one night stay, it was rough.”
