“Room was definitely not cleaned. Dirty napkins and just generally not wiped down. Solo cups left from the previous guest on the back deck. The views and location were awesome. Also no guarantee in getting a beach front umbrella in front of the rooms. People come early and reserve spots with towels and then maybe they show up maybe not.”

“Everything was great! Things to think about before you book. Ask if your rental is on the beach side or across the street. I didn’t realize there were both, and get two rooms if you need them. The pull out couch is not comfy even for kids. None of this was the fault of Cedar Cove just trying to help out the next person. Overall very satisfied!!!”

“I love that the property is located directly across the beach within walking distance. And they also have beach chairs and umbrellas as well (get there early or later in the afternoon). The sunsets were absolutely beautiful and the amenities were fun. My husband and toddler and infant stayed here so I’d definitely say it was family friendly. “Great view from the beach the best part! Room lacks some amenities like a microwave or water outside to wash your feet from the beach and some more chairs/ beach supplies would be nice. Fantastic view and comfortable bed!”

“My only complaint is there wasn’t a pool and there wasn’t a microwave, oven, toaster oven, or air fryer to heat food, just a stove.”

“Staff in restaurants were somewhat accommodating. We asked to change our reservation from 2 to 4 people in the Riva restaurant. We were informed they could only take us at 8:10. We said ok, then the manager of Riva said no, not until 9:00 is there an open table. Then the concierge informed me he could get it changed. Not great communication amongst staff. Food in Riva was ok. All in all, it was a good experience.”

“We had a wonderful stay. Great location and a quick drive over the bridge to Anna Maria Island. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Beds and pillows were comfortable. We really enjoyed our balcony marina view and spotted manatees! The pool was a good size and not too crowded with attentive pool side service. “The room was comfortable, as were the beds and pillows. The breakfast is a full breakfast and good. The only complaint I have is that although I was assured the bathroom was handicapped accessible, it was not. Using a walker in the bathroom was awkward unless you kept the door open. A wheelchair would have been impossible.”

“The room was very clean and well maintained/new. Staff was friendly and helpful. The air conditioner was great. The room we stayed at had lots of accessories for the beach like chairs and kid’s toys for the beach along with an umbrella. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful. It was a great experience overall.”
