“The whole place needs a refurb. My bedroom could have done with a clean and the toilet actually needed flushing before I could use it. The stairs and corridors wer dusty in corners and one corridor had a peculiar smell. I know it was an old building but I’m sure even old buildings could have lifts installed and maybe ramps and here one or two steps are. Not good value for money and the breakfast certainly wasn’t. “Excellent stay, fantastic staff, would stay there again”

“Very poor. We paid for a deluxe triple room as it was cheaper than a standard double, when we arrived the gentleman told us we couldn’t have that room as it was under occupied and would have to have another room. The room was poor Avoid this place ”

“The hotel was goodnight stay with towel and a gift on bed which was a nice touch. It was easy to find and reception has cups of water if you want . The only things is that you have to pay £10 a night for parking which should either be part of room price or be told in advance. Easy to Christ just have to put key in a checkout box ”

“The manager and staff at this hotel go above and beyond. My wife is disabled and travelling can be a challenge. The folks here just go out of the way to make things as easy as they can. The accessible room is large and the bathroom with its roll in shower and shower stool is well designed and functional. Top marks to all the staff.”

“Pets welcome but advise in advance, perfect location, cozy, easy access for local sight seeing and there’s lots of places to go and see. There’s an M&S food at the garage about 200 metres away, good pub within walking distance but allow 30 mins there, and about an hour to get back in the dark 🙂 There is a microwave and induction hob with fridge and toaster in the kitchen but no oven, all you need unless you brought a pizza, no big deal we just froze it and had it when we got home. “I did not expect that the room would be detached from the pub and there was no one in the facility overnight. I had questions about how to turn on the heat but there was no one to ask. Staff person was very nice but when she checked me in and showed me the room I didn’t know it was going to get cold.”
