“Our stay at the hotel was very nice overall, the staff were polite and always said hello when we would walk past. I liked how safe we felt there with the side doors locking at night even if you had a key card. Only down side for us was how hard the mattress was.”

“The hotel was clean! The staff was very professional and helpful! However, the room looked very cheaply renovated. Lots of patched up spots in the ceiling. Bathroom door was several different colors of brown. The carpet needs to be cleaned or removed. There was a slight smell over near the bathroom/fridge/microwave area. The front door entrance absolutely annoying! You have to push the handicapped button or pull/push for it to open instead of having sensors. When you have a lot in your hands...

“Wonderful place and the main house is incredible. Do the ghost walk . Our bar didn’t work . We paid for one of the best rooms ; were told it was upgraded, then were told we were upgraded to a better room . In fact we had been put in an older room with less than what we were promised . This was confirmed by staff on numerous occasions even though the front desk denied it . Other than that the staff was helpful . It was sort of a pain getting the putters got mini golf . Overall I’d highly suggest...

“Beware there are other hotels much better to choose from!!!! NOT up to Marriott standards. This is such a poorly managed hotel. Have been coming to Williamsburg 28 years. Everyday breakfast items out (different times) , not being refilled, No coffee. Check in rude, sarcastic and condescending, could not wait for shift to end. Furniture damaged, TV stopped working. Stayed 4 nights and housekeeping came in once.”

“Our room was clean and all the staff we interacted with were good. The Wifi was terrible and I couldn't get a 5 or 4G data signal anywhere on the property. The breakfast was awful. All the fruit had a chemical taste like it had been sprayed or washed with hand sanitizer. The eggs were cold and very hard. The coffee options were regular and regular with just whole milk. I expected better with it being something you had to pay extra for.”
