“The villa itself was great but the room wasnt as clean as I expect it to be. The amenities were good, the parking was east however the pool behind registration was growing what appeared to be black mold in the 2.5 ft end and it was gross. We found this to be unacceptable especially since we watched as a staff member checked the ph and totally ignored the overwhelming growth on the pool steps, sidewalls and under the edges. ”

“I will admit when I first saw the property I was a little skeptical however it is a older property it's been around in Williamsburg forever. In this day and age if you're paying $90 for a room you really cannot expect much but at least a clean room and that is what this Howard Johnson provided. “We stayed this past week with our two dogs, and it was a wonderful family vacation. We stayed in the Blacksmith Cottage, which was fully-furnished with everything we needed. “Our stay at SpringHill was excellent. Check in was smooth and easy. Breakfast was great! They even have free ice cream from 5pm-8pm daily and Busch Gardens and Water country are only 20 mins driving from the property. Chilis and Ramen time was a 5 minute walk. CVS was a less than a 10 minute drive. Pool was great and clean and so was the gym. Cleaning, front desk and breakfast staff were phenomenal. ”
