“Chris the owner always makes you feel welcome. Dining in the pub is always a tasty experience, as is the selection of ales on the bar. Rooms are tasteful in good shape, and comfortable. Parking is easy, great value for money ”

“Lovely place and very welcoming team. Refreshing change to a chain. Room was comfortable, a little rundown in places. Clean but maybe hadn't been used for a while. Would definitely go again and this time get a meal as planned. Thank you. ”

“The hotel was good value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was excellent (119) with king size bed and plenty of room. The bathroom was newly decorated and the shower very good. The room, corridors and reception area were clean and tidy. The only negative is that there is no food on site and the leisure facilities are no longer open and will probably never re-open. Food and drink can be found nearby at The Farrier attached to the Premier Inn which was nearly double the...
