“The room was clean and very compact, it lacked appeal but had most of the amenities you would want at this price. There is no interaction with staff at all as self check in, the heating wasn’t on although the radiator in the hall was hot, one curtain hardly covered the window, my room,2, was at the front of the property so people leaving the pub were talking loudly at 11.30/12pm and then again at 1am which woke me up, the shower was good, the wash basin so tiny you couldn’t get the tiny kettle...

“Staff lovely despite obvious shortages of menu items and basics. They dealt with problems the best they could with the lack of any management being available to offer support to one female staff member on second shift working without uniform another female staff member on her fourth week with the hotel with limited training and a male staff member multitasking to help with anything and everything. “Hotel molto antico ma ben rimodernato. Ci è capitata una camera piccolissima, praticamente un sottotetto, però grazioso anche se un po' scomodo. Il bagno era funzionale. L'accoglienza un po' sui generis, niente di che (per stampare il boarding pass ci hanno mandato alla biblioteca locale). Posiziona buona per girare i dintorni.”

“The bed I had was harder than I’m used to so that was a bit of a let down. As for breakfast it was help yourself. Fine for things like cereals, yoghurt, fruit juice and toast, but not for cooked food. That should be cooked to order not put out and kept warm for an hour or two. The eggs were really tough.”
