“Hotel needs some TLC. We’ve stayed there many times over the years and were disappointed by the lack of quality maintenance. Icky, half-assed fixes show how little is invested in this property. Day manager and breakfast food were fine. Evening clerk has a friend in a broken down car sitting at the front door for hours. Kind of off putting but she was a good clerk. ”

“Room was clean and comfortable. Shower was hard to work and didn’t get hot for quite a few minutes. Breakfast was mid - they had waffle mix and a waffle iron, which was great. But pretty much all carbs except a few apples. No other fruit or yogurt. ”

“Had a late arrival upon check-in and was given an upstairs room which hard on me as I am experiencing mobility issues. Fortunately I was able to park right next to the stairs and my room was right at the top of the stairs. Overall, the room was very nice and clean plus I had a quiet night's sleep. Good value for the price!”

“We couldn't believe how spacious this apartment was! Kristi, the manager, communicated with us before and during our stay, and even had a welcome basket with goodies waiting for us in the kitchen. Our unit had a great living room, full kitchen, bedroom with two big beds, and pull-out sofa. And TWO full bathrooms. After a long day of hiking, it was just perfect for the three of us. We fully recommend High Plains Lodge!”
