“Room was dated and mold in tub and walls of bath. Curtains did not keep huge lights outside from shining into room. Dining table was dirty at bfast. Food was fine and plenty to choose from. As a Hilton Member this one was not a great stay and there are many more choices across both sides of hiway. Would not stay here again.”

“The front desk staff was super friendly and the restaurant next door was excellent! Our dog was welcome at both the hotel and restaurant outside, Right on the ocean. It was a magical weekend.
The room could have used another chair or two and the TV had a back strip down it. But we were on the beach most of the time which is line 200 yards away so over all we were super happy. ”

“The property is lovely. Despite being told it was heated, the pool was not heated. (I did not find this out - until after checking the temperature with my hand, and asking the concierge/ front desk to turn up the temperature. Only then did they find out by calling maintenance that the pool heater was not working). There was no mention of when it would be fixed -if ever. ”

“The Kress was an amazing surprise for my wife and I during a quick overnighter to meet up with some old childhood friends. I grew up in this area and the downtown district had been forgotten. It was great to see this place back to life. The Kress has done an excellent job restoring this old department store. The rooms are incredible with large common space and bedrooms. I wished we had booked an extra night. ”
