“We had a wet room as en suite, and like most wet rooms, it smelt damp. The breakfast was self service and poorly stocked. We had to get an off duty member of staff to help after waiting 15 minutes on a tight schedule for someone to arrive to provide crockery and cutlery. The evening meal in the restaurant was excellent. For the cost to the room for the night, I did not feel our experience was good value for money.”

The staff in the bar, restaurant and hotel were all very nice and happy to help in any request that we had. Food restaurant was great and the atmosphere was terrific – definitely check out the Abbey directly across the street.”

“Hotel reception is lovely, unfortunately the wing we had been placed in had a significant lack of Airconditioning ! Even though the room is advertised as having AC . When we arrived the room was at 30°c ! We turned on the AC and promptly left the room to cool down ! We returned at 11pm expecting to have a nicely cooled room only to find the room was still 30°c ! With no Airconditioning coming out the vent! At this point the fan was set up at the window which doesn't really open, presumably so...
