“The setting in such a quiet rural location but only minutes from Wadebridge and the cottage suited us perfectly for our purpose for being in the area. We had some queries about the property before arrival and found Sykes support lacking but the house keeper for the cottage was really helpful and was able to help us on 2 occasions with instant replies. “Breakfast was nice and there were vegan options though the one person serving seemed stressed as she was so busy. Evening meal was good and had vegan options for all courses. Staff were friendly and helpful. The carpet in my bedroom was the only disappointment as it needs replacing. Otherwise the room was spotless and the bedding fresh & comfortable. ”

“Went for a relaxing break in Port Isaac and stayed here in room 5 which had a lovely view of the slipway. Room not very spacious and with only one chair which meant one of us had to sit on the bed but not too much of a problem. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The toilet was practically touching the ensuite door so a visit in the dark in the middle of the night left me with a head injury when I closed the door and went to sit down! I think they heard the bang...

“What a lovely property, everything was perfect, clean room, everything in good working order. Spacious room for 3, large bed, tea and coffee and hot chocolate. Great menu, lovely evening meal and breakfast. Plenty of free parking, easy access to Truro annd Newquay. All staff were friendly and helpful. ”

“Julie at the front desk was very friendly and personable when I checked in. I have to agree with her, the sunset from just across the street from the hotel is spectacular. There is possibly nothing better in the world than an English ocean-front sunset on a clear day. The hotel itself is very clean and charming and aesthetically pleasing.
