It was quiet and in an outstandingly beautiful wooded valley, just a short walk from the St Nectans waterfall. We had everything we needed in the cottage. It was very cosy and comfortable. We very much want to visit again. ”

We were lucky enough to get a free upgrade and the room was beautiful - huge bed, lovely en suite and high-beamed ceilings. The breakfast is included and it’s exceptional - best scrambled eggs I’ve had in years. Couldn’t rate more highly!”

“A lovely room in a converted stone building, separate from the main pub. Comfortable king-size bed and a small but adequate bathroom with an excellent rainfall shower. The only snag was the too-heavy duvet; we boiled on the first night! The second night we took the cover off it & slept under that. Good breakfast but we would have preferred to be able to eat at 8.30 instead of 9am.”

“What an amazing find. Definately be back. Rooms are lovely. Food was amazing. Lots to choose from in the bar. I really enjoyed my stay here. I travel a lot with my job, so when you find a place like this, its makes a huge difference, especially vs those who simply play at it. This place really cares about its customers.”

Our check in was fab they were very laid back as we were worried about timings because we had a gin tasting event we were going to first. The staff put us as ease when we spoke to them. We did get confused where to park so parked up the road instead of the car park as our satnav took us to the wrong side of the building. How ever the car is fine parked...

"La posizione dell’hotel e la vista che si gode dalla terrazza è spettacolare, vale tutto il costo del soggiorno
L’hotel a un parcheggio, peraltro gratuito, che è sicuramente utilissimo in un viaggio con la macchina in Cornovaglia.
La camera è molto semplice ed il bagno è un prefabbricato, la vista però parlava da sola ed il silenzio rotto solo dal mare e dai gabbiani ti rimane dentro.
