“What a lovely little stay in Bodmin. Off the beaten path, quiet, gorgeous. Only about 20 minutes from Tintagel, and some of the best clotted cream in town. My wife and I both agreed it was our favorite stay of the whole of our trip which spanned the entire island. The accommodations are ideal for a couple looking to escape into the beauty of the south-lands! Bathroom was spacious and the shower was great (even for me at 6-2”). “Brilliant location - quiet apartment/flat in rural area. Within 30-60mins of many fab Cornish places - Eden Project, Jamaica Inn, North coastline (Boscastle, Tintagel, Padstow). Some fabulous family activities close by. Township only 1mile away. Clean & tidy flat, with all the amenities needed, full kitchen, bathroom, pull-out sofa & hosts provided an airbed for 2nd teen. “we stayed in the Gamekeepers residence, was spotless on arrival with pretty much all the equipment we needed for a weeks stay. Couldnt buy too much chilled food at once as the fridge is a little small but loved our stay there. the bed/bedroom is really nicely done, perfect for a couple. Minimal contact with staff which suited us as thats what we like. Close access to shops and ameneties in the town very close by, and a good homebase to explore lots of different areas of Cornwall.
