“100% attractively and thoughtfully renovated, only evidence of house’s age was stairs to bedrooms that are a bit steep and ceiling a bit low at top for 6’2” husband. We are 70 and it worked fine. Spotless new bathrooms and comfortable beds. The location 2 blocks from bike path was perfect. Convenient location,about 10 minutes to skiing, beach, and downtown Petoskey.”

“My husband and I were absolutely delighted to call this space our home base for a few days of vacationing in the area. After days spent hiking in the gorgeous nature of Michigan and seeking out breweries,cideries, distilleries, wineries and all the Hemingway points of interest, this was the perfect place to retire to for an evening of cocktails, games, reading and relaxation. Clean, cozy and stocked with everything that we could possibly need. We cannot wait to come back.”

“Loved this property. Comfortable, roomy, perfectly equipped home with million dollar views of sparkling aquamarine Torch Lake. We enjoyed coffee on the porch in the morning as well as glorious sunsets! Had fun playing pool in the game room and shopping in the sweet town of Alden during our one rainy day. Host is a wonderful person who provided very helpful intel on the area, from groceries to restaurants to boat rental (highly recommend Butch’s Tackle & Marine for boats and other water sports,...

“We loved staying at this house. It is very clean and well stocked. There are plenty of pots/pans/silverware/plates/cups/bowls etc. There are spices but if you need cooking oil and also baggies/foil, bring your own. The rooms are spacious and there are enough closets/drawers to put your stuff. Lots of blankets and pillows. One bed is quite hard but it fixed the crook in my back! Internet is strong. There is a TV in one bedroom and in the livingroom which allowed us to spread out for chill time....

“Lovely spot, close to skiing and snowmobiling. The pool and hot tub is at the club house and cost $6 a day. It was a great and fun to have. The only negative is that i think this property would not hold more than 6 people. The bedrooms are small. Not a problem for us because our whole group did not come, but could be for other bigger groups. We also ran out of TP and paper towel and we only had 4 people. Not a complaint, just a comment! We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this dog friendly...
