“Siamo arrivati alla sera. Abbiamo sbagliato ad impostare il tom tom .abbiamo messo un paese vicino ma perche era scritto così nell'indirizzo. Un disastro. Però un signore in macchina vi ha accompagnati all'albergo! Tutto il bene di questo mondo a questo signore. Poi il colmo erano le ore 20 e loro non davano più la cena. Insomma siamo andati a letto on un tè e biscotti. Comunque poi alla fin tutto bene. Albergo un po lontano da Stansted.”

“We got a room for us and our English friends. We loved it. The restaurant was great. That night we all had the carvery, I was impressed, for English food it was good. We stayed in room 9. “Very nice and cosy. It has been a pleasure staying at this B&B. It's easy reachable from the train station of Royston, by foot. The bedroom was very comfortable. Although the bathromm was not private, it was cleaned and close to the bedroom, with all the utilities. It's perfect for couples or also singles.”
“The bar is very small and closes early - we were exhausted so certainly wasn’t an issue for us and the restaurant was a decent size. Meal was good, great selection of drinks, room (spitfire) was clean and comfortable and appeared to have been recently refurbished. The young lady (owners daughter?) served us in the evening and the following morning very efficiently and competently so thankyou!
Breakfast was included , very tasty and perfect size. First time staying here and I will stay again ”
“Owners were very friendly and great at communicating ahead of our arrival. We had a fridge in our room, which was really helpful and the water and tea/coffee/biscuits left were lovely. The beds were so comfortable and we slept really well. The breakfast was amazing - really great quality sausages etc. would definitely stay again if we were ever in the area.”

“Excellent location for visiting IWM Duxford and only 10 minutes on the train to Cambridge.
Janet and Simon couldn't have been more welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were really good with options for all tastes.

“Very nice country hotel in the countryside near Duxford IWM, reasonable rooms, beautiful old building, free parking. All fine except the shower temperature knob was stuck on "burning hot" and when I reported it to reception upon checking out I was told.. "it's the customers' fault, they keep forcing the knobs out". Had the response been "Sorry sir, we apologize" my overall opinion would have been different.”

"La camera aveva tutto il necessario ed era pulita. La colazione era completa, a frutta (insalata di mirtilli, fragole, ecc.) , un po' eccessivamente aspra. Il parcheggio era comodo e vicino, al giusto prezzo. "

"Hotel perfetto: in un minuto sei in stazione, con 3-4 bus diversi (che partono da davanti l’hotel) in neanche 10 minuti sei in centro a Cambridge. Sono arrivato alle 9 di mattina, facendomi registrare al loro portale, mi hanno concesso il check in anticipato gratuito. Camera che affacciava sulla stazione ma non si sentiva una mosca. Pulita, spaziosa e letto ultra comodo. Personale sempre pronto. La migliore esperienza avuta con Ibis "
"Struttura eccezionale. Camere molto belle ben dotate e pulite. Colazione molto fornita. Unico punto negativo è la mancanza di un parcheggio della struttura o convenzionato con essa. Si può parcheggiare nel parcheggio della stazione ferroviaria ma il costo è assolutamente sproporzionato. "
"The housekeeping was a joke. For a 5 nights stay they never cleaned the bathroom (just changed the towels and the toilet paper) and never changed the bed. They took the garbage from the room though, daily . You have to get used to live in your own dirt.
Breakfast was average with limited choices. Restaurant offered outstanding food of superb quality and taste, but the menu was limited. The gym is way above average and top notch for the level of the hotel. The SPA was superb and offered the best in class products. If you want a superior SPA you truly have to struggle to find one. WiFi was excellent and stable. The staff in general was young and inexperienced, but the tried their best."
