Hotel a Six Mile Bottom

“We came to visit family who live nearby in the village, so it was very convenient to stay at the Red Lion. The apartment was great, the super-king-sized bed was very comfortable with lovely cotton sheets, and there was a great shower. Staff were very friendly and the apartment block is a short walk from the pub, so it is private and quiet. Would definitely stay again . ”

“Hotel situato accanto ad un grande parco al di la' del quale si trova il centro cittadino. L'hotel è sopra un pub ma non si sentono rumori che disturbano. Colazione abbondante compresa nel prezzo con grossa scelta di portate che costerebbero circa 13-15 sterline a testa. Camere piccole ma accoglienti e con tutto l'occorrente compresi phone, intere bottiglie di shampoo e sapone e anche bottiglie di crema emolliente per le mani. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Stafff molto disponibile che permette...

“Room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the full breakfast but had to wait 15 minutes one morning to be attended. Otherwise hotel staff were friendly and attentive. Ample parking on both sides of the hotel. There is a Starbucks right outside the hotel. ”

“The housekeeping was a joke. For a 5 nights stay they never cleaned the bathroom (just changed the towels and the toilet paper) and never changed the bed. They took the garbage from the room though, daily . You have to get used to live in your own dirt. Breakfast was average with limited choices. Restaurant offered outstanding food of superb quality and taste, but the menu was limited. The gym is way above average and top notch for the level of the hotel. The SPA was superb and offered the best...

“Very nice country hotel in the countryside near Duxford IWM, reasonable rooms, beautiful old building, free parking. All fine except the shower temperature knob was stuck on "burning hot" and when I reported it to reception upon checking out I was told.. "it's the customers' fault, they keep forcing the knobs out". Had the response been "Sorry sir, we apologize" my overall opinion would have been different.”

“Loved the romantic room as the size was amazing. A quiet location with stunning views and we loved sitting there with a cuppa and relaxing. Easy parking. Bed was comfy. Clean bathroom. We appreciated the friendly reception and close walking distance to the park and ride. This made it an excellent location. ”
